This tool is designed to drive out long bolts and pins (up to 5” long) that over time have been frozen in place by corrosion. Components you might use this tool on would be alternator pivot, suspension arms, control arms, shocks, leaf springs, and many other applications all could have bolts too long to remove with conventional drift, or tapered punch without it becoming stuck creating additional time consuming problems three different sizes allow use on bolts as small as 5/16” 8mm a medium size for 3/8” 10mm a large sized one for 1/2” 12mm and above.
